What is a Ceramic Coating?

The Coating Process
and what to expect
Wash
Your vehicle is completely washed utilizing a foam bath, and a hand wash. This clears the majority of surface dirt and debris.
Decontamination
To get the harder to see fallout off of the paint, we utilize a clay bar, and a chemical iron remover which clears the remaining debris. bringing us to the cars base clear coat.
Polish
Once we have the paint clear and free of any debris we begin polishing. This process removes defects such as light scratches, overspray, swirling, and orange peel. we polish to a high gloss so the paint appears sleek and wet. We then wipe down with a prep spray to remove any polishing oils and residue.
The Coating
The Ceramic Coating is applied by hand to all of the painted surfaces and trim. It sits for 10 minutes then wiped off and buffed to a high shine to cure.
What to Expect.
To ensure a perfect cure the vehicle is kept out of any type of natural environment as the coating must completely cure for a day. Once cured, The vehicle is topped with spray sealant which adds a sacrificial layer to the ceramic.
Aftercare
A ceramic is a semi permanent bonded coating. The vehicle will be easier to wash but it must be taken care of. Utilize our maintenance service for a basic wash to keep the ceramic at its peak. Do not use a drive through wash as it will deteriorate the coating.
